Connection Church of San Luis Obispo, CA is a liberal, faith based Christian church specializing in ministries relating to college students. We are a descendant of New Life Center in Bakersfield and a Four Square affiliate. ( See the Links section. ) Of course, we not only welcome, but require people of all ages to provide a balanced sense of community. We're a small church with a big heart. Peak Experience

The girls may be getting together for Chick Chat Movie Night earlier in the week, but the guys have their own plans: Jock Talk Walk. On the 26th at 2:00 PM — that's after church, and after lunch, of course — I'll be leading the guys up Bishop Peak for some male bonding and outdoor exercise. Mark it down on your calendar and don't forget, because it's going to be fun. No, I won't be taking my guitar. It's the highest peak in the chain of ancient volcanos known as The Nine Sisters, or sometimes The Morros. (Morro Rock is one of the sisters.) The padres at the old mission gave it the name Bishop Peak because if you look at it from just the right angle it looks like a bishop's hat. Well, it's 1,559' above sea level at the very top, and if we make it — Did I say if? — we're going to rename it Pastor Peak, or maybe just Dale for short. So, don't be a wuss, lace up those hiking shoes and plan to be there. Sunday, February 26 at 2:00 PM.
