Connection Church of San Luis Obispo, CA is a liberal, faith based Christian church specializing in ministries relating to college students. We are a descendant of New Life Center in Bakersfield and a Four Square affiliate. ( See the Links section. ) Of course, we not only welcome, but require people of all ages to provide a balanced sense of community. We're a small church with a big heart. Coed Game Night

Let the Games Begin

Ecclesiastes says there's a time for finals and a time for fun—or something like that. So, we came up with the nothing-too-serious, kick-back-and-have-fun Game Night at the Claiborne house, Wednesday, May 31st from 7:00–11:00 PM. It's a come one, come all event. If you're a Cal Poly student, this will likely be the calm before the storm, because the following week is the dreaded Week of Finals. Even the sound of it makes your skin crawl.

That's where the fun part comes in. Remember, all work and no play is why Jack and Jill ran up the hill in the first place. You can't be ready for finals unless you've taken a few moments off to relax and get in touch with yourself. If you're not a college student, you can still relax, enjoy the fun, get in touch with yourself, and go right on relaxing the following week. Everyone is invited.

Expect Texas Hold-em and other card games, board games, made-up games, prizes lots of good food, (mostly junk food, but don't tell anyone,) and lots and lots of fun. Bring a friend. Bring someone you don't know. Bring a game. Bring yourself.
